Rottweiler
The Rottweiler is loyal, self-confident, calm, courageous, independent,
wary, and protective. He's an instinctive guardian known as the world's
best guard dog. He's tough, strong, and powerful and possesses a lot of
endurance. He's territorial and protective of his home and family. He
does not make indiscriminate friendships with strangers. He's cautious,
watchful and aloof with strangers until he's properly introduced to
them. He can be aggressive with others dogs, so you'll have to keep an
eye on him because the other dog could be injured. He thrives on your
companionship and wants to be around you always. He's fond of children
and protective of them. He's extremely intelligent and learns very
quickly. He can be quite a clown around his family, which can be
entertaining to watch. While he makes an excellent guard dog he isn't
the best watchdog because he may not bark much. There are many other
breeds which make better watchdogs. Rottweiler has a calm stare, that’s really effective at telling people to "back-off." He's the ultimate guard dog!!
Rottweiler is the most intelligent and easiest to train comparing with all other breeds!! He learns new commands quicker than any other breed, which makes
him very easy to train.
The short coat of the Rottweiler only requires an occasional brushing.
But because he sheds you may find yourself brushing him once or twice a
week to remove loose hair. (What you get out with a brush doesn't fall
out in your home!!)
Rottweilers are slow to mature, and aren't usually considered adult until around 2 years of age.The average life expectancy for a Rottweiler is somewhere between 7 and 10 year.
Any dog attack is a serious matter, but especially with large breed
dogs, the injury's are obviously worse than with smaller dogs, that refer to one specific dog breed as all bad, is no different than believing that "all blondes are dumb".If you are truly afraid of Rottweilers and believe they are all bad because of things you have heard, I strongly suggest that you get to know a real Rottweiler by contacting a reputable breeder in your area, where you can form an opinion based on personal experience and real facts instead of hearing all dumb stories.
And Finally, If you are looking to get a Rottweiler, and you're not willing to put in
the time to training, love and properly care for such a unique
dog, I will recommend you to reconsider your breed choice.
